While there may be many critics of social media out there but even they can’t help but give credit to social media for this achievement. The story unfolds as someone posted disturbing photo of a starving dog and her 4 puppies on Facebook. The photo quickly got viral and the woman just wanted to make sure that the dogs got justice.

It was Janette Gonzalez who posted the photos on Facebook and reported the incident on the social media as a case of animal neglect. Originally, a friend of hers had taken a photo in Pico Rivera, California neighborhood so that’s how she learned about this.

People started sharing the posts and it soon got viral before animal control went there to investigate. Ultimately, 9 emaciated dogs were rescued from that home which includes two German Shepherds and a Labrador.
