Authorities in Phoenix, Arizona, are now charging a twenty-seven -year-old man after cutting his certified service dog's neck after stabbing it more than 100 times. Cub, 4-year-old Golden Retriever, was killed by Jacob Bushkin at his home. The killer then took the dog's body into a garbage can.
Bushkin's family took the dog's body to a local vet to determine the death's cause. So, the vet directly called the police and told them what happened to the dog. It was obvious that the dog was killed by using a knife, according to the veterinarian, who was concerned that Jacob Bushkin would do the same to a human being. He also added that Jacob's family worried about their son's fate.
Authorities, said that in addition to a metal rake, a screwdriver-type object and a knife were also used in stabbing the dog. Authorities said that Jacob told them that he left Cub outside the home sleeping, but when he went to get him back after some hours, he was dead.
The police arrested Bushkin after finding many items of evidence like bloodied dog hair in his yard and home. He was charged with 2 felonies including animal cruelty and killing a service animal. Watch the video above to have more information.
